- Launch of the Sarina Community Native Gardens by Mackay Regional Council Mayor, Deirdre Comerford and Costa Georgiadis
- Find out the winners of the Sarina Native Garden Competition

- Displays and stalls from local organisations including Landcare, Conservation Volunteers Australia, Society for Growing Australian Plants, Birdlife Mackay, Sarina Rural Skills Centre - Mobile Aquaponic unit, Mackay Community Gardens, Australian Wildlife Rescue Service
