Bushcare Volunteers

Would you like to learn about your environment? Do you like the great outdoors? Do you have a green thumb? Would you like to do any of these in a casual, social setting?

If you answered yes to any of these, then volunteering with Whitsunday Catchment Landcare is for you!

Volunteering Days: Every Thursday morning and the 3rd Saturday of each month – 9.00 am to 12.00 midday.
Where: WCL Community Nursery, 33 Kelsey Creek Road; or activities around the catchment via prior arrangement.
Activities: Native plant propagation, seed collecting, tree planting, weed control.
What to bring: Gardening gloves, sun protection and closed-in shoes.
